2019 Year of Chicago Theatre

For the city of Chicago’s 2019 Year of Chicago Theatre awareness campaign I created a bold and playful design system to showcase our diverse, fearless theater scene. I created a unique logotype, ownable color palette, billboard & bus stop ads, street pole banners and wrapped trash bins to portray the fearlessness our city possesses on each stage. By papering Chicago with our design system, we seek to spread awareness about every theater, from broadway plays to storefront productions; performances for every person and every budget.

The 2019 Year of Chicago Theatre campaign lives across Chicago on bus stops, billboards, trash bins, street poles, and at the Chicago Cultural Center. It employs a bold and playful design system to educate the public on the diversity in theatre offerings throughout each neighborhood of Chicago.
